Mandrill

About Mandrill
Mandrills live in the tropical areas of western Africa. They are a close relative of the baboon. Out of all the monkeys in the world, the mandrill is the heaviest, weighing up to 120 lb. (55kg). Like many animals species, the males are larger than the females. Baboons are easily recognized by their brightly colored red and blue muzzles. The center of the muzzle from the middle of the eyes down to and around the nose is red. On either side of this there is blue.

Mandrills live on the ground in thick rain forests. An adult male mandrill will lead a troop of up to 20 animals. Mandrills eat plants, and also anything they can kill.
