Gray Mouse Lemur

About Gray Mouse Lemur
The Gray Mouse Lemur is among some of the smallest primates in the world. Their eyes are forward-facing, which helps them judge jumping distances as they climb. They have a long, fluffy-ended tail, and tiny fingers and toes. They usually weigh less than 2 oz. (50g). The gray mouse lemur's diet consists of leaves, fruit, insects, and a variety of other things. Like most other primates, the gray mouse lemur is most active at night. A female will give birth to two or three young at a time. Their gestation period of 8 months is unusually long for an animal this size.
