European Robin

About European Robin
The European Robin is a common bird easy recognized by its red breast. They are friendly. They have been known to tag along behind gardeners to snatch up insects and worms in the freshly turned soil. This friendly behavior is only extended to humans, however. During breeding season, males become extremely territorial. They defend their territory fiercely against other males, while allowing females to enter.

The female will build a dome shape nest that is lined with moss and animal hair. The nest is usually built near the ground. However, they will also build a nest in a garden shed or garage, etc.
