Common Blue-Tongued Skink
These lizards have shiny, smooth scales and very small legs. They have large heads and shorts tails. Their most conspicuous feature is their blue tongue.
They give birth to live young.
If threatened the blue-tongued skink will stick out it tongue and hiss scaring away its predators.
